I know these dogs! They're not too far from my folk's place. I haven't been there in ages but I remember a very peaceful feeling there. What a fun area to sit and sketch.
I haven't checked in for awhile and then what do I see-I looooove the fu dogs. I actually have a pair in my backyard and my husband and sons all have fu dog (sorry if it's offensive) tattoos! We will be going there very soon. We also love the goldfish and paths and the sunsinger and the formal gardens and just everything else! We will take camera and art supplies-so fun!
We did have a great time! One of the best things about the "nature journaling" part we are doing in this class, is that anyone who can stay brings a picnic lunch and stays afterward to chit-chat and let the kids play together and further explore wherever we happen to be that week.
I think I am going to start trying to sketch a little too during the class. I am inspired to at least try. *grin*
