winter day

2.08-blizzardy.jpg

I just watched a coyote for about five minutes, then suddenly his head snapped up and he looked right at me, then bounded off into the woods.

"Hear! hear!" screamed the jay from a neighboring tree, where I had heard a tittering for some time, "winter has a concentrated and nutty kernel, if you know where to look for it." — Henry David Thoreau, journal entry, November 28, 1858

What a beautiful shot, aren't you lucky to look outside and just see trees.
